My bid was rejected. Why?
Three common reasons and how to fix each.
If the room shows your bid greyed out or with a banner, it is one of three reasons.
1. Below the next valid increment

The seller set bid steps (for example R50 increments under R5,000). Your bid must be at least the current price plus the next step.

Use the Bid R[next] button instead of typing a custom amount.
2. Phone not verified

First-time bidders need to verify a phone number. Enter it, get the SMS code, confirm.
3. Banned by the host

If you have been banned by this seller across their rooms, you cannot bid in any of them. The room shows a Banned banner instead of bid controls.

Bans are seller-specific, not platform-wide. You can still bid in other sellers' rooms.
