My countdown is not extending on last-second bids

Auto-extend is on by default but can be disabled per room.

Auto-extend pushes the timer back to 10 seconds whenever a bid lands inside the closing window.

Check that it is enabled

Open the host panel for the room.

Settings → Room → Auto-extend.

Confirm the toggle is on and the extend window is at least 10 seconds.

Still not extending?

Check the lot increment schedule. A bid below the next valid increment is rejected before the timer can react.

Look at the audit log on the lot. Any rejected bid shows the reason: too low, banned bidder, or unverified.

If the audit log shows a valid bid that did not extend, email us with the lot link. We will investigate.
