Pause a live room without losing bidders
Use Break mode. Chat stays open, timer freezes, bidders stay connected.
Break is the auctioneer's intermission. It freezes the active lot and shows everyone a countdown to return.

Host panel → click Break in the top action bar.

Set a return time (defaults to 10 minutes). This is what bidders see counting down on their screen.

Bidders stay in the room and chat continues. The active lot is frozen at its current bid and timer.

Click Resume to come back early, or wait until the return time elapses. Either way the lot picks up exactly where you left off.
Long pauses (over 30 minutes) tend to lose bidder attention. If you need longer, consider wrapping the room and scheduling a new one.
